Dimapur, Oct. 29 (EMN): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has appealed to the chief minister of the state to set up a high powered commission (HPC) to settle land issue plaguing Kohima Science College in Jotsoma.

In a memorandum to the chief minister, the union stated the HPC should be formed in view of the upcoming assessment of the college.

It stated that the commission should be set up within one month, and submit its report within two months.

“The commission should formulate policies, provisions and action plan on how to settle the land issue for once and for all. The state government must implement the recommendation of the commission, in action, within one month from the date of submission of the report,” it added.
