Nagaland: St. Joseph University organises workshop on ‘business start-up’

Dimapur, Feb. 23 (EMN): Economics department of St. Joseph University, in collaboration with Ilando Private Limited, organised a one-day workshop on “Business start-up” on February 18.

The workshop was conducted in two sessions in which Imtisunup Longchar, the director of Ilandlo Pvt. Ltd, was the resource person, stated an update from the university.

In the first session, the speaker gave a brief introduction of Ilandlo and enlightened the students on entrepreneurship by sharing his own personal experiences, while in the second session, the speaker emphasised on the opportunities available and its scope. He also enlightened the students about the process of starting a business, taxation issues from the government and its difficulties involved in starting an enterprise.

He further explained on the availability of government schemes for start-up of business.

Report added that there was an interaction hour between the students and the speaker in which doubts and confusions were cleared.
