NTA to conduct coaching-cum-selection

The Nagaland Taekwondo Association(NTA) is conducting a special coaching – cum – final selection for senior taekwondo players to participate in the forth coming 31st National Senior Taekwondo Championship to be held from September 20 -22 at Imphal. In a release Nagaland Taekwondo Association General Secretary Lhouliebeio Khezhie informed all the senior gold medalist during the 26th Nagaland State Taekwondo Championship are directed to report on September 9 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima positively. Wrestling coaching camp

The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) will be conducting free wrestling coaching camp at 4th NAP Complex, Thizama for interested wrestlers from the state of Nagaland from September 13 onwards for participation in the National Senior Championship which is to be held at Kolkata from November 14 to 17.
The association has also requested all the officials of NWA, president of constituent units, wrestlers and coaches to reach the venue by September 9 at 12:00 noon.

T20 Cosco Ball Cricket tourney

The 1st United T20 Open Cosco Ball Cricket Tournament, organised by United Baptist Churches Association, North East India (UBCA-NEI) under the theme ‘Cricket for Christ’, will be held at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur from September 9 to 20. The registration fee is Rs.4000 and the last date of joining is on September 7.
The winner of the tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs.50, 000 while the runners-up and the semi finalists will receive Rs.20, 000 and Rs.5000 respectively. The other prizes are man of the match, best batsman, best bowler and man of the series.
