DDFA meeting on Sept 18
Dimapur: The Dimapur District Football Association has called for an emergency meeting on September 18 at 4:30 pm in its office premises at DDSC Stadium. The meeting will deliberate on appointment of a new post, i.e. working president, proposed. Members can also bring other agendas and suggestion for discussion in the meeting. The association has asked all to be present positively.
35th Open Running Volleyball C’ship
Dimapur:The 35th Open Running Volleyball Championship, organized by the Black Panthers’ Club, Akuluto, will be held from October 9 to 11 at Akuluto town. The winners of the championship will receive a cash amount of Rs.60, 000 along with trophy and certificates. The runners-up will receive Rs.40, 000 while the 3rd position and 4th position will receive cash of Rs.20, 000 each. The registration fee is Rs.3500 and the last date is on October 5. Teams are also asked to submit 2 passport of players.

Kohima: Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) will be organizing the 1st Kohima District Volleyball tournament for men and women for October 28 to 30 at local ground Kohima under the theme ‘transcending through games.’ Interested local teams from all the 19 wards and 7 RD blocks of Kohima district can participate in the tournament. Organizing committee also informed that payers should be strictly a local and permanent resident of Kohima district and selection will also be there for the KDVA team. Dimapur: The XXI Inter District and State Table Tennis Championship 2013 will be held from October 9 to 18 at Indoor Table Tennis Stadium, Kohima.
