The 1st Nagaland Songwriting contest 2016 organised by DKs Entertainment Group (DKsEG) will be held today September 10 at Green Park, 4th Mile, Dimapur. The Organising team, DKsEG reported a total entry of 86 participants from various districts of the state. All the participants are informed to make free registration from 9:00am onwards at the venue.
Supongnukshi, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forest will grace the event as the Chief Guest during the inaugural programme who will also unveil the song title of the contest on the spot.
According to the Programme Coordinator, Khrievotuo Sekhose, the event is being organised under the theme, “Tapping the untapped Talents”. The Event Manager of DKsEG, Alebu informed that the participants will be provided with writing materials.
The judges of the event also informed that the structure of the song should contain a minimum of two verses, a pre chorus, chorus, bridge and an outro where points will be allotted basing on the consistency of the theme, style and simplicity, creativity and appeal of the song.
The Founder and Managing Director of DKsEG, Senti Longchar (DK) in a press release said that the Organisation is totally a non-profit organization and aims to bring Peace and Harmony in the minds and hearts of the people through music and related activities who also strongly belief that music industry is another solution to unemployment problem in the state.
