Dimapur, June 6 (EMN): Nagaland Rifle Association through its president Merang Jamir in a press note informed that the 4th Nagaland Shooting Championship 2018 will be held from June 28 till July 2 as per NRAI match book rules 2016.
All 10 metre event in small bore rifle/pistol (NR) will be held at the Aries shooting range, Tsiepfutsiepfhe (A.G) colony Kohima and all 25 and 50 metre events at the Aries Sports Complex, Bamun Pukhuri-1.
Shooters from the para military forces, AI, ONGC and other affiliated units of NRAI who are domicile or having posting in Nagaland shall be eligible to represent their unit or state.
The championship is open to shooters belonging to affiliated clubs/academy of Nagaland. Entries can be sent directly to the Nagaland Rifle Association only.
The note also added that those below 21 and 18 years of age as on Dec. 31 2018 will be considered under the category of juniors (1998 onwards) and youth (2001 onwards) for the championship.
