Nagaland sepaktakraw sub-junior teams shine at national c’ship

Dimapur, June 11 (EMN): The Nagaland Sepaktakraw Sub-Junior team won one Gold medal and two Bronze medals in the recently concluded 21st Sub-Junior National Sepaktakraw Championship from June 5 till the 10 at Bhubaneshwar (Odisha). This was stated in a press note. Nagaland girl’s team beat Haryana in Double event to secure the Gold medal (18-21, 21-14, 21-7). The Nagaland girl’s team also secured the Bronze medal in Regu event while the boys team secured Bronze medal in Team event. After much anticipation, the Nagaland girl’s team finally won a Gold medal in the Sub-Junior National Sepaktakraw Championship. 26 states participated in the championship.
