Nagaland Sepaktakraw Association meets Khekaho

Dimapur, June 5 (EMN): The Nagaland Sepaktakraw Association (NASTA) had a meeting with the Khekaho Assumi, Parliamentary Secretary Youth Resources and Sports at Hotel Saramati Dimapur on June 5 to highlight about the urgent need of a Sepaktakraw stadium in Dimapur for the players. This was informed in a press note by NASTA secretary, Holshe Khrieo. Also the association highlighted about the three Sepaktakraw players from Girls Sports Academy, Dimapur and SAI Dimapur and a coach who are going to attend the Indian Sepaktakraw coaching camp at Aurangabad (Maharashtra). If selected, they will represent India in the upcoming France Championship France in the month of July, 2017 informed the press note. Acknowledging the importance of Sepaktakraw game, Khekaho applauded the achievement of Youth Resources and Sports department as well as the Nagaland Sepaktakraw team in the national as well as the international level. The press note informed that the legislator gave his affirmation of looking into the matter of constructing the Sepaktakraw stadium in Dimapur. Furthermore Khekaho promised to extend his support to the players through financial assistance in view of their travel expenses for coaching camp and tournament.
