Dimapur, Jan. 16 (EMN): The department of School Education (SE) has informed that the Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021, notified by the Government of Nagaland dated November 29, 2022, have come into force from the date of issue of the aforementioned notification.
The guidelines pertain to fixing accountability of the school management in the matter of the safety of children studying in all schools, including government and private schools in Nagaland.
Heads of all categories of schools (government/ private/ KV/ JNV/ CBSE/ CISCE/ EMRS) functioning within the State of Nagaland have been informed to download a copy of the Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021, made available at the Department’s website https://education.nagaland.gov.in and also at the department’s online education services portal https://dosenl.in.
School heads have been requested to sensitise all stakeholders regarding the guidelines and ensure the safety of children studying in their schools.
