Dimapur, Sep. 29 (EMN): Governor of Nagaland, RN Ravi extended Lao-Ong Mo greetings to the Konyak community, which is celebrated to mark the abundant harvest and thanksgiving.
‘It is heartwarming to know that members of the Konyak community take part in the revelry with families and friends, rekindling kinship while others seek to build new relations along with the festivities,’ a press update stated.
‘It is very important for our youth to preserve our rich culture and heritage, which should be manifested in our way of life through hard work, honesty and unity along with the colourful songs and dances,’ it read.
‘On this special occasion, I wish happiness, prosperity and good health to everyone. God bless you all,’ it added.
