Kohima Sep. 3 (EMN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who is the current elected representative of 11 Northern Angami-II A/C, is on an extensive tour of his assembly constituency, reaching out and listening to the people at the grassroots.

In the fourth leg of his tour, the chief minister covered six villages including Chiephobozou, Nerhe-Phezha, Nerhe-Model, Nerhema, Nachama and Chiechama and was accompanied by Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu, chairman of NKVIB, a host of senior party leaders, party men and women of his constituency.

In his address to the people, the chief minister expressed his pleasure to be in their midst while impressing the need to be informed and also engage with the community. He also thanked God for the many blessings and the love he has received from the people of his constituency.

Vibeilietuo Kets, the president of the NDPP unit of 11 Northern Angami-II A/C, highlighted the achievements of the constituency and visions of the chief minister, both for the constituency and the people of Nagaland at large.

Further calling upon the gathering to be producers and not just consumers, he stated that the chief minister is fixated on helping the villagers produce more, and that his government is on a mission to create more avenues for marketing their produced goods.
