Nagaland Rifle Association informs on shooting training

Dimapur, June 15 (EMN): The Nagaland Rifle Association (NRA) in a press note invites interested shooters to contact the shooting ranges in their respective districts for training to the 7th North East Zone Shooting Championship organised by the Assam Rifle Shooting Association and conducted by the National Rifle Association of India from August 1 to 5 to be held at Kahilibara, Guwahati, which will be followed by the 63rd National Shooting Championships Competitions (NSCC) from November 20 to December 12 in Delhi.

Free training will also be conducted for differently abled persons under the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) SH1 and SH2.

Training will be done on:

  1. 10 meter air rifle and air pistol, from June 17 at Ladybird School Shooting Range in Mokokchung.
  2. 25 meter .22 bore standard pistol and sport pistol; 50 meter .22 bore open sight and peep sight rifle; from June 17 at Aries Sports Complex, Bamumpukhuri-1, Dimapur.
  3. 10 meter air rifle and air pistol from June 17 at Aries Foundation, NST Colony, Dimapur.
  4. 10 meter air rifle and air pistol, from June 24 to 29th at Aries Shooting range, Kohima.
  5. 5th Nagaland Shooting Championships from July 2 to 5th in Dimapur.

Shooters are also requested to register online at www.thenrai.org. for Shooter ID Card to the National Rifle Association of India for participation at the 5th Nagaland Shooting Championships and the forthcoming National Shooting Competitions.
