Nagaland reports 82 Covid-19 cases, 80K in India

Dimapur, June 13 (EMN): Nagaland on Sunday reported 82 fresh Covid-19 positive cases, taking the state’s active caseload to 3502.
According to data provided by the department of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima recorded the highest number of cases with 30, while Dimapur followed with 28, Mokokchung 11, Zunheboto five, Mon four, Longleng two, one each in Kiphire and Phek.
Meanwhile, Dimapur also recorded 137 recoveries, Mokokchung 39, seven each in Kohima and Phek, four each in Wokha and Kiphire, and one in Longleng.
Further, the state’s Covid death toll reached 439 with five being reported in the last 24 hours.
India reports 80k Covid cases
India recorded 80,834 fresh cases of the coronavirus disease, according to data provided by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
With this, the country’s total infections went up to 29,439,989.
Meanwhile, as many as 3,303 people died due to the virus in the last 24 hours, the Ministry added, taking the total death toll to 370,384.
It said that the total number of tests done during the previous day were 19,00,312, the ministry said.
Moreover, the country has vaccinated as many as 25,31,95,048 people against the virus, out of which 34,84,239 were vaccinated in one day.
