Nagaland reports 60 new Covid-19 cases, no fresh fatalities

Dimapur, Aug. 26 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally has increased to 29,778 with 60 more Covid-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 60 new cases detected on Thursday, 17 were in Zunheboto, 12 in Dimapur, 10 each in Kohima and Mokokchung, four in Mon, three each in Longleng and Phek, and one in Kiphire.
The state’s death toll remained the same at 598 with no fatalities reported in the last 24 hours while the state’s recoveries rose to 27,457 with 84 patients having recovered.
On Thursday, 35 patients recovered from Kohima, 24 in Dimapur, 20 in Mokokchung, four in Zunheboto, and one in Peren.
Nagaland currently has 845 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 669 are asymptomatic, 138 mild, 14 moderate on oxygen, nine severe on oxygen, five in ICU without ventilator, and 10 in ICU on ventilator.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 302 cases, followed by Mokokchung with 210, 204 in Kohima, 28 in Zunheboto, 24 in Wokha, 21 in Mon, 18 in Phek, 11 in Longleng, 10 in Kiphire, nine in Tuensang, and eight in Peren.
