Nagaland reports 6 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

Dimapur, July 16 (EMN): Nagaland recorded six fresh COVID-19 infections on Saturday, taking the number of active cases in the state to 60 and tally to 35,598.
Out of the six new cases reported on Saturday, five were in Kohima and one in Dimapur.
An update from the department of Health and Family Welfare informed that the state also registered seven recoveries — five in Kohima and two in Mokokchung – in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 33278, while the death toll remained unchanged at 758 with no fresh fatalities.
Of the 60 active cases, 31 are asymptomatic, 26 mild, one moderate on oxygen, one in ICU without ventilator, and one in ICU on ventilator. Six of these patients are currently admitted in COVID hospital while 54 are under home isolation.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, four persons in Dimapur are admitted in COVID hospital and 20 under home isolation; one person in Kohima is admitted in hospital and 25 under home isolation; one case in Mokokchung is admitted in COVID hospital and one under home isolation; and one case each in Longleng and Zunheboto, and six cases in Peren are under home isolation.
