Dimapur, Sep. 8 (EMN): The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland declined to 10 with four new COVID-19 recoveries reported on Thursday.
According to the update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID cases in the state stands at 35,930.
With the recovery of the two patients in Dimapur, and one each in Mokokchung and Wokha, the state’s cumulative recoveries have increased to 33,628.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the pandemic stands at 775 with one death reported during the last 24 hours.
Out of the 10 active cases, five are asymptomatic and five mild.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur has five cases, two each in Mon and Longleng and one in Kohima, while the remaining districts are currently COVID-free.
