Nagaland reports 48 fresh Covid-19 cases, 13 recoveries

Nagaland reported 48 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the tally to 32, 964 and active caseload to 484.

The state’s cumulative recoveries have increased to 30,520 with recovery of 13 more patients in the last 24 hours, while the death toll remained unchanged at 687 with no fresh fatalities.

According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, 33 new cases were reported in Dimapur, 12 in Kohima, two in Peren and one in Wokha, while six patients each recovered in Dimapur and Kohima, and one in Peren.

Of the 484 active cases in the state, 447 are asymptomatic, 35 mild, and two moderate on oxygen.

In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 405 infections, 49 in Kohima, 16 in Tuensang, six in Peren, five in Mokokchung, two in Phek and one in Wokha, while the rest of the districts are currently Covid-free.
