Dimapur, March 26 (EMN): Nagaland reported two recoveries from Covid-19 on Saturday, while no new Covid cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
The state’s active tally stands at 18 and Covid tally stands at 35470.
The tally of recoveries has increased to 33210 with two more recoveries in Dimapur on Saturday.
All the 18 active cases are asymptomatic.
Meanwhile, in the district-wise distribution of active cases, 16 are in Dimapur, and one each in Kiphire and Wokha, while the remaining districts are currently Covid-free.
4,100 fatalities recorded in India
India's Covid-19 death toll climbed to 5,20,855 with 4,100 fatalities recorded in a day, with Maharashtra reconciling the number of deaths (4,007) caused by the viral disease in the state, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday.
A total of 1,660 fresh cases pushed the country's Covid-19 tally to 4,30,18,032, the data stated.
The number of active cases of the infection has declined to 16,741, with the recovery of 2,349 patients in the last 24 hours.
India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 182.87 crore (1,82,87,68,476).
