Nagaland reports 14 new COVID-19 cases, 15 recoveries

Dimapur, July 29 (EMN): The number of COVID-19 active cases in Nagaland stand at 102 with 14 fresh infections detected on Friday. The death toll remained unchanged at 764 with no fresh fatalities recorded during the same period.

According to the update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, six fresh cases were reported in Kohima, three in Mokokchung, two in Dimapur, and one each in Longleng, Mon and Tuensang in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the state to 35,765.

The state’s cumulative recoveries also increased to 33,393 with the recovery of 15 more patients in the last 24 hours — seven from Kohima, five in Dimapur, and one each in Mokokchung, Longleng amd Wokha.

Out of 102 active cases, 49 are asymptomatic, 48 mild, three moderate on oxygen and two severe on oxygen.
In terms of district-wise distribution of cases, Kohima has 41, Dimapur has 27, Mokokchung 13, Mon seven, Wokha five, three each in Longleng and Phek, two in Zunheboto and one in Tuensang.
