Nagaland records one new Covid-19 case, no deaths

Nagaland recorded one fresh Covid-19 cases on Friday, taking the tally to 32, 165, while active caseload declined to 83 following recovery of two patients.

The state’s cumulative recoveries have increased to 30,312 and the death toll remained unchanged at 685 with no fresh fatality reported in the last 24 hours.

According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, the lone positive case was reported in Dimapur, while two patients from the same city recovered.

Out of 83 active cases in the state, 66 are asymptomatic, 16 mild and one in ICU on ventilator.

In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 65 cases, 17 in Kohima, and one in Mokokchung while other districts are currently Covid-free.
