Nagaland records 95 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths in one day

Dimapur, July 16 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally has increased to 26,476 as 95 new cases were detected on Friday.
The state also reported three fresh casualties in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 505.
The Health and Family Welfare department updated that out of the 95 new infections detected on Friday, Kohima reported the highest with 47 cases, followed by Tuensang with 13, Mokokchung- 11, Dimapur- 9, Longleng- 6, Phek- 5, Kiphire- 3, and Peren- 1.
The state also recorded 61 recoveries in the last 24 hours, out of which 17 were in Mokokchung, nine each in Dimapur, Kohima and Phek, six in Zunheboto, five in Kiphire, three in Mon, two in Peren, and one in Longleng.
Nagaland currently has 1082 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 890 are asymptomatic, 136 mild, 18 moderate on oxygen, 22 severe on oxygen, six in ICU without ventilator, and 10 in ICU on ventilator.
The total recoveries in the state stand at 24,145.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 363 patients, 250 in Dimapur, 246 in Mokokchung, 44 in Tuensang, 35 in Wokha, 30 in Kiphire, 28 in Longleng, 25 in Zunheboto, 22 in Mon, 20 in Peren and 19 in Phek.
