Nagaland records 94 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths; tally rises to 25111

Dimapur, June 29 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 94 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s active caseload to 1381 and tally to 25,111.

The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 94 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 26 in Mokokchung, 21 in Dimapur, 14 in Kohima, eight in Peren, six in Kiphire, five each in Phek, Tuensang and Zunheboto, two each in Mon and Wokha.

The state also recorded 108 recoveries in the last 24 hours wherein 41 were in Kohima, 23 in Mokokchung, 18 in Dimapur, 10 each in Phek and Tuensang, three in Mon, two in Peren, and one in Wokha.

The state currently has 1381 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1182 are asymptomatic, 155 mild, 26 moderate on oxygen, seven severe on oxygen, four in ICU without ventilator and seven in ICU with ventilator support.

The state has registered 22534 recoveries so far and 479 deaths with no casualties reported in the last 24 hours.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 386 active cases, 341 in Dimapur, 263 in Mokokchung, 105 in Tuensang, 71 in Peren, 62 in Mon, 59 in Zunheboto, 33 in Phek, 24 in Kiphire, 22 in Wokha, and 15 in Longleng.
