Nagaland records 91 new Covid-19 cases, 6 deaths; tally stands at 24850

Dimapur, June 26 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 91 new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 24, 850.

The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 91 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 48 were in Kohima, 20 in Dimapur, nine in Mokokchung, six in Tuensang, four in Zunheboto, three in Peren and one in Phek.

The state also recorded 106 recoveries in the last 24 hours out of which 35 were in Dimapur, 31 in Mokokchung, 21 in Kohima, six in Peren, five in Phek, four in Mon, three in Tuensang and one in Longleng.

The state currently has 1487 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1269 are asymptomatic, 160 mild, 28 moderate on oxygen, 15 severe on oxygen, eight in ICU without ventilator and seven in ICU with ventilator.

In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 417 active cases, 413 in Dimapur, 277 in Mokokchung, 90 in Tuensang, 83 in Peren, 63 in Mon, 52 in Zunheboto, 38 in Phek, 22 in Wokha, 17 in Kiphire and 15 in Longleng.

The state has also registered 22,178 recoveries and 473 deaths so far with six recorded in the last 24 hours.
