Nagaland records 69 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death in 24 hours

Dimapur, July 3 (EMN):
As many as 69 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Nagaland on Saturday, taking the state’s active caseload to 1253 and tally to 25,451.

The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 69 new cases, Kohima accounted for 19, Dimapur-14, 12 in Mokokchung-12, Zunheboto-6, Mon-5, Phek-5, Wokha-5, Tuensang-2, and Kiphire-1.

The state also recorded 94 recoveries in the last 24 hours out of which 26 were in Mokokchung, 18 each in Dimpaur and Peren, 14 in Zunheboto, 10 in Tuensang, seven in Kohima and one in Phek.

Nagaland currently has 1253 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1102 are asymptomatic, 102 mild, 31 moderate on oxygen, nine severe on oxygen, one in ICU without ventilator and eight in ICU with ventilator.

The state registered 22,991 recoveries and 485 deaths with one casualty reported in the last 124 hours.

In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 391, 331 in Dimapur, 232 in Mokokchung, 86 in Tuensang, 58 in Peren, 41 in Phek, 31 each in Zunheboto and Wokha, 29 in Mon, 22 in Kiphire, and one in Longleng.
