Nagaland records 57 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death in last 24 hours

Dimapur, Aug. 18 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 57 new Covid-19 cases and one casualty in the last 24 hours, pushing the state’s tally to 29,331 and death toll to 594.

The department of Health and Family Welfare updated that 22 cases were detected in Dimapur on Wednesday, 17 in Kohima, seven in Mokokchung, three each in Longleng and Wokha, two in Phek, and one each in Kiphire, Peren and Tuensang.

The state also registered 88 recoveries, out of which 41 were in Dimapur, 19 in Kohima, eight each in Mokokchung and Tuensang, six in Peren, five in Wokha, and one in Kiphire.
