Nagaland records 40 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths on Monday

Dimapur, July 5 (EMN): As many as 40 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on Monday, pushing the state’s tally to 25,559.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 40 new cases detected on Friday, Dimapur reported the highest number of fresh cases with 15, followed by Mokokchung -14, Kohima-3, Peren-3, Mon-2, Wokha-2, and Phek-1.
The state also recorded 81 recoveries in the last 24 hours, out of which 36 were in Dimapur, 19 in Mokokchung, eight each in Kohima and Phek, four in Zunheboto, two each in Peren and Tuensang, and one each in Mon and Wokha.
Nagaland currently has 1192 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1040 are asymptomatic, 100 mild, 29 moderate on oxygen, eight severe on oxygen, four in ICU without ventilator and 11 in ICU with ventilator.
The state also registered 23,158 recoveries and 485 deaths with no fresh casualties reported in the last 24 hours.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 380 active cases, 304 in Dimapur, 240 in Mokokchung, 84 in Tuensang, 40 in Peren, 32 each in Wokha and Mon, 29 in Phek, 27 in Zunheboto, 22 in Kiphire, and two in Longleng.
