Nagaland records 4 new Covid-19 positive cases; tally rises to 12076

Dimapur, Jan. 23 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded four new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 12,076.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘Four positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Saturday); Dimapur-3 and Mokokchung-1. Also, four positive patients have recovered from Dimapur,’ tweeted the minister.    

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 104 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 88 are asymptomatic, 10 mild, four moderate on oxygen, and two severe on oxygen.

The state has also recorded 11,742 recoveries so far and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 50 cases, followed by Dimapur-41, Mokokchung-12, and Mon-1, while Peren, Kiphire, Longleng , Tuensang, Wokha, Phek and Zunheboto have zero cases.
