Nagaland records 260 new Covid-19 cases, 12 deaths in one day

Dimapur, May 26 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 260 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, pushing the state’s active caseload to 4923 and tally to 20,795.
The state also registered 12 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 315, and the cumulative recoveries stand at 14,929.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated on Wednesday that out of the 260 new cases, 117 were detected in Dimapur, Kohima-98, Mokokchung-15, Phek-12, Zunheboto-8, Wokha-5, Kiphire-4, and Peren-1.
He added that the state also registered 131 recoveries — Dimapur-46, Kohima-29, Zunheboto-Kiphire-14 each, Mokokchung-11, Phek-7, Wokha-5, two each in Mon and Peren, and one in Longleng in the last 24 hours.
