Nagaland records 194 new Covid-19 positive cases on Monday

Dimapur, August 3 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 194 new Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 2129.
This was informed by the state’s minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, on August 3.
“Tested 845 samples for Covid-19, out of which 194 cases came out positive. 136 cases in Dimapur, 36 in Zunheboto and 22 in Kohima. All contact tracing are fully activated for all safety,” the minister tweeted.
According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1,473 active Covid-19 cases, 648 recoveries, and four deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 845 active cases, followed by Kohima at 393, Mon 110, Zunheboto 61, Peren 21, Phek 14, Mokokchung 11, Wokha 12, and Tuensang at 4, while Longleng and Kiphire have no cases.
