Nagaland records 180 new Covid cases; 154 of them in Dimapur

Dimapur, April 25 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 180 new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 13183.

Minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom updated that 154 fresh Covid-19 cases were detected in Dimapur, 24 in Kohima and two in Mokokchung. He also informed that 15 positive patients had recovered, eight in Kohima and seven in Dimapur.

According to data provided by the Health and Family Welfare department, the state currently has 679 active Covid-19 cases out of which 597 are asymptomatic, 63 mild, 15 on moderate oxygen, and four severe on oxygen.

The state has also registered 12132 recoveries and 98 deaths out of which 10 have been ruled  ‘not Covid-related’.

District-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases in Nagaland

In regard to the district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 509 active cases, 139 in Kohima, 14 in Mokokchung, 10 in Phek, four in Longleng, and one each in Peren, Wokha, and Tuensang while the remaining districts are Covid-free.
