Nagaland records 174 new Covid-19 cases; tally rises to 21854

Dimapur, June 1 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 174 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 21,854.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that out of the 174 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 58 were in Dimapur, 43 in Mokokchung, 20 in Tuensang, 16 in Kohima, 12 in Mon, 10 in Phek, eight in Wokha, five in Zunheboto and one each in Kiphire and Longleng.

He added that as many as 373 positive patients – 208 in Kohima, 57 in Mon, 36 in Dimapur, 22 in Tuensang, 17 in Zunheboto, 16 in Phek, 10 in Mokokchung, five in Longleng and two in Wokha -- recovered during the same period.

The state currently has 4725 active Covid-19 cases, 16,111 recoveries and 372 deaths.
