Nagaland records 168 new Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths; tally rises to 22240

Dimapur, June 3 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 168 new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 22,240.
The Health and Family Welfare department updated that out of the 168 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 51 were in Dimapur, 43 in Kohima, 24 in Tuensang, 12 in Wokha, 11 in Phek, nine in Mokokchung, six in Zunheboto, five in Peren, four in Kiphire, two in Mon and one in Longleng.
The state currently has 4711 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 4334 are asymptomatic, 228 mild, 81 moderate on oxygen, 35 severe on oxygen, 24 in ICU without ventilator and nine in ICU on ventilator.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 2,447, 1,430 in Kohima, 247 in Mokokchung, 206 in Tuensang, 99 in Phek, 95 in Zunheboto, 71 in Wokha, 43 in Kiphire, 38 in Mon, 18 in Longleng, and 17 in Peren.
The state has also registered 16,489 recoveries so far, and 391 deaths, out of which five were reported in the last 24 hours.
