Nagaland records 15 new Covid cases; tally rises to 12054

Dimapur, Jan. 16 (EMN):
Fifteen new Covid-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 12,054.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘15 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Saturday); Kohima-11, Mokokchung-3 and Dimapur-1. Also, two positive patients have recovered; one each in Mokokchung and Longleng,’ tweeted the minister.   

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 117 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 102 are asymptomatic, seven mild, four moderate on oxygen, two severe on oxygen and two on Critical-ICU.

Nagaland has also recorded 11,709 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 57 cases, followed by Dimapur-48, Mokokchung-9, Peren-2 and Mon-1, while Kiphire, Longleng , Tuensang,  Wokha, Phek and Zunheboto have zero cases.
