Nagaland records 133 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths; tally crosses 23000-mark

Dimapur, June 8 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 133 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 23,051.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 133 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 36 were in Dimapur, 28 in Mokokchung, 27 in Wokha, 16 in Kohima, eight in Mon, seven in Phek, five in Longleng, and three each in Kiphire and Zunheboto.
The state also recorded 153 recoveries in the last 24 hours out of which 56 were in Dimapur, 37 in Mokokchung, 28 in Tuensang, nine in Zunheboto, seven each in Kohima and Longleng, six in Phek and three in Wokha.
The state currently has 4676 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 4365 are asymptomatic, 186 mild, 64 moderate on oxygen, 35 severe on oxygen, 17 in ICU without ventilator and nine in ICU on ventilator.
The state also registered 17,296 recoveries and 418 deaths, out of which three were reported in the last 24 hours.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 2,177, 1,503 in Kohima, 401 in Mokokchung, 205 in Tuensang, 75 in Zunheboto, 73 in Phek, 84 in Mon, 82 in Wokha, 35 in Kiphire, 26 in Longleng, and 15 in Peren.
