Nagaland records 130 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths; tally rises to 24759

Dimapur, June 25 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 130 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 24, 759.

The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 130 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 37 were in Mon, 31 in Dimapur, 20 in Peren, 13 in Mokokchung, 11 in Kohima, eight in Zunheboto, six in Wokha, two in Phek and one each in Kiphire and Longleng.

The state also recorded 127 recoveries on Friday out of which 78 were in Mokokchung, Dimapur-31, Mon-7, Kohima-4, Longleng-4, Zunheboto-2, and Phek-1.

The state currently has 1508 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1271 are asymptomatic, 173 mild, 39 moderate on oxygen, nine severe on oxygen, nine in ICU without ventilator and seven in ICU with ventilator.

In regard to the district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 432 active cases, 390 in Kohima, 300 in Mokokchung, 87 in Tuensang, 86 in Peren, 67 in Mon, 48 in Zunheboto, 43 in Phek, 22 in Wokha, 17 in Kiphire and 16 in Longleng.

The state has also registered 22,072 recoveries and 467 deaths with two casualties reported in the last 24 hours.
