Nagaland records 11 new Covid-19 cases; tally rises to 12427

Dimapur, April 13 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 11 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 12427.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that 11 positive case -- seven in Dimapur, two in Kohima and one each in Phek and Wokha -- were detected in the last 24 hours.

He added state also reported three recoveries-- two in Kohima and one in Dimapur.

According to the information provided by the Health department daily Covid-19 update, the state currently has 174 active Covid-19 positive cases, 11995 recoveries and 83 deaths.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 129 active cases, 41 in Dimapur, two in Mokokchung, and one each in Wokha and Phek.
