Nagaland records 11 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death

Dimapur, Nov. 5 (EMN):
A single-day rise of 11 Covid-19 positive cases was reported in Nagaland on Friday, taking the tally to 31,905, while active caseload dropped to 185 following 19 recoveries.
The state’s cumulative recoveries have increased to 29,985, while the death toll increased to 673 with one fatality reported in the last 24 hours.
According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, 10 positive cases were reported in Dimapur, and one in Kiphire on Friday, while 15 patients in Dimapur, three in Kohima and one in Mokokchung recovered.
Out of the active cases in the state, 149 are asymptomatic, 22 mild, five moderate on oxygen, five severe on oxygen, and four in ICU on ventilator.
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 90 active cases, Kohima with 37, 29 in Mokokchung, eight in Wokha, six in Phek, four each in Tuensang, Mon and Kiphire, two in Peren and one in Zunheboto, while Longleng is currently Covid-free.
