Nagaland records 109 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths; tally rises to 23753

Dimapur, June 14 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 109 new Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 23,753.

The Health and Family Welfare department updated that out of the 109 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 52 were in Mokokchung, 26 in Kohima, 14 were in Dimapur, seven in Mon,  five in Zunheboto, two in Wokha, and one each in  Peren, Phek and Tuensang.

The state also recorded 405 recoveries in the last 24 hours, out of which 238 were in Dimapur, 122 in Kohima, two in Longleng, 22 in Mon, eight in Phek, six in Zunheboto, four in Peren, three in Tuensang, and three deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.

The state currently has 3201 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 2941 are asymptomatic, 145 mild, 64 moderate on oxygen, 22 severe on oxygen, 17 in ICU without ventilator and 12 in ICU on ventilator.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 1,543 active cases, 632 in Kohima, 552 in Mokokchung, 173 in Tuensang, 75 in Zunheboto, 66 in Wokha, 55 in Mon, 47 in Phek, 28 in Longleng, 26 in Kiphire, and four in Peren.

The state has also registered 19,431 recoveries and 442 deaths, out of which three were reported in the last 24 hours.
