Nagaland records 105 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths on Wednesday

Dimapur, July 21 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally has increased to 26,943 and active caseload to 1218 with 105 fresh infections reported on Wednesday.
The state also reported three deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 521, while 41 recoveries took the cumulative recovery figures to 24,434 so far.
The department of Health and Family Welfare updated that out of the 105 new Covid-19 cases, 45 were in Dimapur, 37 in Kohima, 10 in Tuensang, eight in Mokokchung, two in Zunheboto, and one each in Longleng, Mon and Phek.
Out of the 41 recoveries registered on Wednesday, 14 were in Mokokchung, 10 in Kohima, seven in Dimapur, five in Tuensang, three in Kiphire, and one each in Longleng and Phek.
Nagaland currently has 1218 active Covid-19 cases, wherein 947 are asymptomatic, 210 mild, 27 moderate on oxygen, 18 severe on oxygen, eight in ICU without ventilator, and eight in ICU on ventilator.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Kohima leads with 449 infections, followed by Dimapur- 331, Mokokchung- 206, Longleng- 46, Tuensang- 39, Wokha- 32, Zunheboto- 28, Phek- 26, Kiphire- 24, Mon- 21, and Peren- 16.
