Nagaland records 101 new Covid positive cases, 322 recoveries on Tuesday

State has recorded 445 deaths, out of which three were reported in the last 24 hours

Dimapur, June 15 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 101 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 23,854.

The Health and Family Welfare department updated that out of the 101 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 31 were in Dimapur, 25 in Kohima, 12 in Mokokchung, 10 in Tuensang, seven in Longleng, six each in Mon and Zunheboto, two in Kiphire, one each in Peren and Wokha.

The state also recorded 322 recoveries in the last 24 hours, out of which 205 were in Dimapur, 57 in Kohima, 17 in Wokha, 15 in Tuensang, 10 each in Mokokchung and Phek, and eight in Longleng.

Total recoveries in the state so far are 19,753 and 445 deaths with three casualties reported in the last 24 hours.

The state currently has 2972 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 2736 are asymptomatic, 135 mild, 50 moderate on oxygen, 23 severe on oxygen, 19 in ICU without ventilator and nine in ICU on ventilator.

In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 1,363, 600 in Kohima, 554 in Mokokchung, 168 in Tuensang, 81 in Zunheboto, 61 in Mon, 48 in Wokha, 37 in Phek, 28 in Kiphire, 27 in Longleng and five in Peren.
