Nagaland records 100 new Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

Dimapur, July 17 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally has increased to 26,576 as 100 new cases were reported on Saturday.
The state also reported five deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s death toll to 510 while the cumulative recoveries increased to 24,205 following 60 more patients declared recovered on Saturday.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 100 new cases detected on Saturday, Dimapur reported the highest with 36, followed by Kohima at 25, Mokokchung- 12, Wokha- 8, Peren- 5, Phek- 4, Tuensang- 4, Longleng- 3, Kiphire- 2, and Mon- 1.
Out of the 60 recoveries registered in the last 24 hours, 23 were in Mokokchung, 13 in Tuensang, nine in Kohima, six in Dimapur, five in Peren, two in Phek, and one each in Kiphire and Mon.
Nagaland currently has 1112 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 878 are asymptomatic, 185 mild, 22 moderate on oxygen, 14 severe on oxygen, six in ICU without ventilator, and seven in ICU on ventilator.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 375, 276 in Dimapur, 234 in Mokokchung, 42 in Wokha, 35 in Tuensang, 31 each in Kiphire and Longleng, 25 in Zunheboto, 22 in Mon, 21 in Phek, and 20 in Peren.
