Nagaland record three new Covid cases; tally stands at 12070

Dimapur, Jan. 21 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded three new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 12,070.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘Three positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Thursday) from Dimapur. Also, two positive patients have recovered from Kohima,’ tweeted the minister.   

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 107 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 89 are asymptomatic, five mild, eight moderate on oxygen, and five severe on oxygen. The state has also recorded 11733 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 52 cases, followed by Dimapur-43, Mokokchung-11, and Mon-1, while Peren,  Kiphire, Longleng, Tuensang, Wokha, Phek and Zunheboto have zero cases.
