Nagaland Police donates books to Seyochung Village Library under the Social Assistance Programme to promote reading and academic growth.

DIMAPUR — The Seyochung Village Library has received a donation of books from the Nagaland Police under the Social Assistance Programme to upgrade and modernise the facility.
According to an update, the initiative follows a memorandum submitted on December 29, 2025, by Longtili C Sangtam, former president of the Seyochung Village Students' Union (SVSU), to Disani Newmai, Additional SP, Kiphire, addressed to the Director General of Police, Nagaland.

The proposal highlighted the need to add new books and introduce digital learning materials such as computers and e-learning resources to improve access to quality education for students and youth in the remote area of Kiphire district, particularly Seyochung village.
The SVSU conveyed its appreciation for the contribution, stating that the donation will promote reading habits, support academic growth, and encourage young people to focus on education.
