Nagaland Police clarifies on ‘recruitment’ portal link

- DIMAPUR — The
Nagaland Police has issued a clarification regarding an online police
recruitment link that has been circulating publicly.
- The portal, currently under development and in its testing
phase, is being created by the State Police Department.
- "It is hereby clarified that the portal is meant only
for testing purpose and dummy data are being created in the portal for
identification of any technical issues that may develop subsequently," it
said in a clarification on Tuesday.
- The department further stated that official recruitment
process has not yet begun.
- Once approval is received to commence recruitment, details
of the recruitment process will be formally notified and advertised widely in
leading newspapers and electronic media throughout the state, it added.
