Nagaland Pencak Silat team to participate in junior national c’ship

Dimapur, Aug. 14 (EMN): A 10-member team of Nagaland Pencak Silat will leave on August 17 to participate in the upcoming Junior National Pencak Silat Championship organised by Indian Pencak Silat Federation, in Amritsar, Punjab from August 19 to the 21^st. The Nagaland Pencak Silat Association (NPSA) in an update on Wednesday stated that the team will be headed by President Khevishe Sema with three officials Hetoi Sema, A. Ghunato Sema, and Deep Kumar. The junior team will take part in four events in the National Championship in Tending, Ganda, Tunggal and Regu event. The players are Kitenlo K. Thono, Kivinoka Swu, Kevin, Imnatoshi Longkumer, Nasher and Manish Chhetri. The Indian Pencak Silat Federation will select the best junior players to represent India in the International Junior Pencak Silat Championship to be held in Malaysia and Singapore in the later part of September 2019, added the update.
