Kohima, Sep. 11 (EMN): District Welfare Officer (DWO), Kohima, has informed all beneficiaries under the NSAP (Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Disability Scheme) and under the state SOAP (State Old Age Pension) for the year 2019-2020 that the payments would be made at its office.
In a press release, the DWO Akali Sema stated that payments for Kohima urban would be made from September 22-25, while for Western Angami from October 6-9, Tseminyu block from October 19-23, Southern Angami from October 26-29, and Northern Angami from November 3-13.
The press release also stated that the payments would be made to the chairman of the respective colonies and villages on producing the life certificates of the beneficiaries from the local pastor due to the current pandemic. The beneficiaries are, therefore, requested to submit the passbooks to their respective chairman.
