Nagaland: Olympic Day Run to be held on June 25

Dimapur, June 22 (EMN): Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has informed that registration for the June 25 Olympic Day Run is still open with no entry fee.

An update from NOA informed that participants will receive their bib numbers on June 25 from 8:30 am – 9:30 am at IG Stadium, Kohima.

All participants have been requested to be at the venue by 8 am on June 25 as the races will start from 10 am based on categories.

With a total prize money of INR 1.80 lakh, the races will be held in the following categories–  600 m for officials and invited dignitaries (women and men), 800 m for veterans (women and men), 1500 m (open category, women and men), 800 m (under-16 years), 800 m (under-14 years) and 400 m (under-12 years).

It further informed that a confirmation call will be sent out to all the participants as a reminder and information of the event on June 24 evening. Participants, who have registered by June 23, have been requested to connect with the officials for confirmation in case of no calls by June 24.
