Nagaland: NTPRADAO demand action against NPSC official
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Transparency, Public Rights and Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO) has demanded immediate transfer or demotion of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) controller of examination as punishment pertaining to the alleged fiasco in conducting the combined technical services examination (CTSE).
NTPRADAO stated that NPSC deemed necessary to restore public confidence.
“NPSC, the constitutional body responsible for conducting examinations for appointments in the state services, finds itself once again under intense public scrutiny for its question setting ability or rather the lack of it,” stated a NTPRADAO press release issued by its vice president and general secretary (public policy).
NTPRADAO has termed the demand of Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) and the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) as justified for re-examination of CTSE engineering services.
NTPRADAO pointed out that 84 questions from paper-1 and 73 questions from paper-2 have been repeated/ copied from civil engineering degree question papers, which were conducted on June 6, 2023. Besides, it alleged that there were ‘copy-pasting’ questions as well as ‘overly oversight.’
It stated that CTAN, being the apex body for technical matters, is on the ‘moral right path.’ NTPRADAO assured CTAN that the organisation with thousand plus members from 16 districts of Nagaland would support and fight for the right of engineering students till justice is delivered.
