Dimapur, Sep. 6 (EMN): Expressing concern over alarming influx of illegal immigrants who are out to capture the markets, economy and change the demography, Yuang Aung faction of the NSCN has called upon all the national workers to unite and fight the menace before the Nagas become a minority in their own land like in the Indian occupied states of Assam and Tripura.

While stating that Nagas have withstood many hardship, NSCN (YA), in a statement issued by its MIP, stated that Nagas as a nation has failed to withstand another wave of invasion namely the illegal immigrants. It, therefore, urged the Naga national workers to fight the evil together as they continue their struggle for self determination from the occupational forces.

Stating that many indigenous Naga citizens are victimised, brutalised, man-handled, attempted to murder and even to the extent of murder in the past recent years, NSCN (YA) warned that it would no longer remain a mute spectator when the indigenous Naga citizens are targeted by those parasitic illegal immigrants.

“These parasitic landless people, who claim themselves as citizens of the other occupied states, will no longer be tolerated,” the statement warned. It has also warned those people protecting the interests of such people adding they would be held responsible for any unfortunate incidents that might arise out of the issue.

Meanwhile, NSCN (YA) has acknowledged the Naga nation for the unceasing prayers, love, and unflinching support till date. It added that the people would continue to be a pillar and source of strength towards achieving the goal.
