Dimapur, July 12 (EMN): The Union Territory-I (UT-1) authority of NSCN (Reformation) apprehended some habitual imposters, masquerading as NSCN members and collecting taxes in Dimapur.
The apprehended persons are identified as Khekivi Ayemi (ring leader) of Yehemi village, Kibovi Kiba of VK village, Angukavi Yepthomi of Hekheshe village and Kitoka Awomi of Pimla village.
NSCN (R), in a statement issued by its MIP, stated that some are absconding and evading arrest adding the NSCN authority are on their trail to nab them.
The family members, relatives, and village authorities concerned of those offenders are informed that the NSCN authorities would have no other options but to impose severest of punishment that might even amount to 'Capital,' if at all, they are caught again.
UT-1 supervisor and kilonser, Khekato Kinny, stated that several reports were received against those unscrupulous elements. He added that they were warned through the media to mend their ways. He, however, stated that they ignored the benevolent gesture and taken for granted for which the authority swung into action and arrested them.
NSCN (R) further urged the public and business community to co-operate and report to its authorities of suspicious activities.
